Therapy Approach

Collaborative therapy grounded in gentle curiosity and care

Therapist Shannon Dwyer approaches therapy as a collaborative process shaped by each person’s unique experiences, needs, and goals. Her work is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and respect, creating space to pause, reflect, and better understand emotional patterns, relationships, and lived experiences.

• A warm, relational, and collaborative approach
• Space for reflection, insight, and self-understanding
• Attention to emotional experience and nervous system awareness
• Therapy guided by safety, pacing, and respect
• Support for resilience, emotional regulation, and connection

Therapy is guided by a trauma-informed and person-centered perspective that honors safety, pacing, and the therapeutic relationship. The work supports deeper understanding of emotional and relational patterns while fostering emotional regulation, resilience, and growth.

Throughout the process, clients are honored as the authors of their own story.

Tall trees in a misty forest with soft light filtering through.
